Oh no, no spending this one. I collect coins too so it's going right in my collection. It's actually kinda funny, in this month alone I went to a coin show and got cards, then I get a coin from a card guy, LOL! I actually have not had a chance to open the case yet but I can assure you I will use it to hold cards for years to come, LOL.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. avsbruins65's PIF of Sabres cards deserves more than a mere High 5. A salute is in order.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

HUGE
thank you to Gregpaa. He asked for one moderately hard to find card, and sent me back 16, all of whom were players missing from my NBA Names project. With that trade, it brings my list of missing people down to under 300 missing! That is going way above and beyond in a trade, thank you Greg!
It also brings me down to needing only FIVE of the D-League players in the 2005-06 Topps Chrome set, which, at one point, was the largest source of missing people.

I'm always happy to be able to add a comment on this thread, and in some cases, I'll add one even if I've received more than one, but both of these that I received today deserve their own posts.
First up, from the tundra of SK, Canada - a package with some very cool hockey cards, one of which was a very nice Manon Rheaume card that I didn't have yet. (My Rheaume collection is somewhat modest, but I just have SO much respect for what she accomplished, I will continue to add to it when I can.)
It also included the very cool Canadian quarter - which has found a nice home in a quarter holder in my US National Parks binder that I'm putting together. By using the 20-pocket pages, I have 4 slots (last row) open - so now, I have 3 spots open for any other cool quarters. :)
Thanks so much Darrell.

Second up is a very unexpected package from Memphis. The name, was very well known. :)
Phillies, Phillies, and more Phillies in this one. Some gorgeous cards from the past 20 years or so (where there's a lot of "missing" cards in my collection). And it even included a couple of very nice Mike Schmidt cards. A super mix of cards.
Mark, thank you VERY much. They will be awesome in the Phillies binders! Oh, and one more thing:
