A belated thanks to T206  for throwing in some extra in a trade  I just noticed.

Got home from a trying day at work to find a big envelope from Billy Kingsley.  Not only the cards from our recent trade, but he threw in several extra Topps basketball, hockey, and Olympic for my Topps project, as well as some Pacers I needed, including a Reggie from a set I'm completely unfamiliar with. I have a fun evening ahead, sorting these cards into my collection. Thank you so much Billy. Made my day!!

Glad you like them! I don't remember which Reggie I sent now but I figured you'd enjoy it more than I would enjoy having it in my unsorted dupes box.

I'm a day late on this one (might have been at the PO longer, but I picked it up yesterday).

My Canadian pal, Bruno (aka sandyrusty) sent me an assortment of OPC Phillies. And thanks for the Mitch Williams card - I think I was the only person in the Philadelphia area who didn't hate him. :) Of course, I was like Curt Schilling, and could barely watch when he was on the mound.

I also need to send a public thanks to our cynical buddy, err CynicalBuddha.

If you don't know, he's the blogger who runs the Easiest Super Bowl Contest (paraphrased). Last year, I was the only one who predicted (before the playoffs started) that the Eagles would actually beat the Patriots. It was simply wishful thinking on my part, but it worked, and I was the grand prize winner. Lots of very nice cards, many Eagles cards in the mix that will be the basis of an Eagles collection.

This year, I decided to be more of a realist, and did not pick my favorite team to win the Super Bowl (which was good, because they didn't make it, but they did surprise us and beat the Bears). However, there was no way I would ever actually pick the Patriots to win, so I was not able to defend my "crown" from last year. Thankfully, CB also gives away a "door prize" - random drawing from those who entered, and they get stuff - just for entering. I won that one! Woo-hoo.

So, the centerpiece of the door prize is a very sharp 2010 eTopps Drew Brees. (Gorgeous card!) Then, CB, in typical CB form, adds extras to the package. He poked around my collection here and realized I'm more of a Phillies collector, and 2 team bags worth of them were in there. No way did he have to do this, but he totally customized the door prize.

CynicalBuddha - Thanks for going above and beyond on that package. It is very much appreciated.
