How come some parallels have no sample card while there are card images available on the site? For example Fight Mat Relics in the example below has an image but not a sample card image:

Is there a way that we can add or select sample images?

Only members with a high Permissions Level can add Sample Images. There are not that many of us and we can't patrol every set in every sport looking for missing samples. And sometimes, we wait for more than one card to be scanned to add samples (unless they are very rare cards). I added the card as a sample for you.

Okay, makes sense. Would it help if I'd make a list for sample cards in the MMA section? There are a lot with missing sample cards and i can help.

Interesting point spaz. With the TCDB growing so rapidly, maybe ADMIN should up set Reps for each sport. These Reps would naturally have Permissions clearance. Then each Rep could [if needed] set up committees to discuss issues. And there are plenty of issues, read the posts. Then ALL the Reps report back to ADMIN, and ADMIN he/she/they will have final say so. Maybe ADMIN and the few Permissions just have too much on the table???

I don't feel like there are plenty of issues. I feel like there are 3 or 4 issues that keep coming up, over and over, and a few lesser ones that routinely come up about once a year.

As for Ricardinho's question, maybe submitting an inaccuracy report for sets you notice with no sample is the way to go. If you put a list in the forums, 10 of us might check on them after someone else already fixed them. If you submit an inaccuracy, a person can set the sample and mark the task complete.

This is exactly what I was going to suggest for sample images. Most of the members who "patrol" the IRs have the permission levels needed to do just about anything here (and if not, it's only Admin who can do it, and we can mark them as "Admin Needed", so that works).

And Spaz is also correct on the fact that we can't check on every set. Sometimes (and this isn't even and all the time thing for me), when I'm in some of the major releases, I'll check on the sets that do not have a sample to see if scans are available to select from. If they are, I'll try to add them. But, I don't always do this. I have an idea I'll be sending to Admin. :)

I just want to point out that for many flagship sets I do not have the capability to add a sample image. I have every possible permission. 

One thing that we need to be mindful of, is that we should not be clicking the same person for samples for every set. We have a couple player collectors here who do that, it's really a disservice to the site. There are more than just two or three people in sets. 

Select the best image, not your favorite player. 

Okay so i wen't through all mma 2018 parallels and these have images but no sample card. I will check the other years later.

For the sake of protocol and I'm sure efficiency, you'll have to submit an IR for each set.

Posting in both places is not recommended. I started looking at this one, and there were already samples on a few of them. Just submit IRs. Thank you.
