I'm giving this site a go and still learning the ropes (idiosyncrasies of the site) and could use some help in one area: an effective way to find cards that folks here have available for trade.
What I want to do and get a list of all cards available for trade from a particular set. How can I do this?
I know how to get a list of members who have cards available from a particular set, but this is not what I want because then I could spend hours having to click through to each member's list and check them one at a time.
I hope this is a feature that I just haven't figured out yet, can someone help?

I just found the "Match items on your Wantlist to items on this member's For Sale / Trade list" link when you are on another member's profile page. This isn't quite what I was looking for, but it is very helpful. I found one member already that has a bunch of my needs.
There doesn't seem to be a distinction between what is strictly For Sale vs. what is available For Trade. I guess you just have to ask the member? I am only interested in trading, so it would be great to filter out those lists/members that only do sales transactions.

The best way I find to do this is to:
1. Check users previous transactions. There is usually a link on their profile for Feedback and Completed Transactions. If they have recent trades and a lot of positive feedback, you can bet they are a trader. Also, check to see if they've logged in recently.
2. See if they have a want list, too. If they ONLY have a For Sale/Trade list, they might be looking to only sell.
Maybe you've already figured those things out, but it does take some extra leg work on your part.

Another way to speed things up is to set up your Trade List using the system. I just looked at your profile and don't find that you've posted anything for trade. So far there's only one match and that's to my Trade List to your Want List.
It takes time to add what you have, but once you've done it the fun begins.

Yes, I'm just getting started. I am evaluating the site before I invest time in building my Trade List. I have large trade/want lists that I maintain in Google Sheets already so I'll need to move them over gradually.
One more question...
In order to trade, do the cards need to be in my Collection. I found one member that has a lot of my needs and I checked their wantlist and found that I have tons of cards that they need. Should I add those cards to my FS/FT collection in order to be able to offer them in trade? That makes sense, but does the Trade Manager work that way? (i.e., the cards must be in your inventory on the site)
Thanks for all the replies. Looks promising.

Yes.
In order to offer them to someone else, the cards need to appear in your inventory somehow. (Either by collection or FS/T.)

Well, actually, I spoke too soon. In the trade manager you can type out your wants or needs or sale price. It'll give you an option to type out a message and you can detail that.

You CAN just type all the cards into the Transaction Manager, but the cards won't transfer from one member to the other in the database. You do not have to load in your collection items. If you load in your "traders" (For Sale/For Trade items), and load in your want list, you will find that the system can automatically match each of these to the members who have these on their respective lists.
It is a database, you might as well take advantage of the tools it offers. :)

This really is a great site for what you want to do so I think it is going to be worth your time. To get started if you want to see how you like it (it will be somewhat limited) is I would probably start with picking one set you want to work on and enter in what you have. You can then select to put all the cards missing on your want list. You should then be able to find matches. Since you are thinking of holding back on entering everything you have you would then probably have to reach out to members via messages to see if they are interested in trading and what they would want. If you find a good trade partner you could then just enter in some of the cards that match into a for sale/trade and propose a trade and walk through those steps. Believe me it becomes much easier once you have entered your collection but that might be enough to get the idea on how it works.
