Found this oddball at my local second hand store today and wondered if anyone had any info on it. I mean I gather it was from their Christian Day at the Park, but curious if any Cardinals fans or anyone for that matter know if this was the only card handed out or if there were others. Overally not a bad card to add to my collection, and not a bad price at a dime for a card you don't see everyday.

Maybe he was the guest speaker and that was part of the ticket package if you went to the postgame event. I think Lance Berkman was the guest last year. I do know that was Matheny's first year as manager.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

That's a good thought, I know they usually have one guy as the guest speaker, so that makes sense.

I know most years there is a set of cards that go along with it, and most years have not been added to the database yet. I had a card from 2007 and I ended up putting the checklist together myself and adding it (a set of about 8). There used to be a website up but it no longer exists. I know they still do Christian Day but I don't think they give out cards anymore.

Does anyone know more about the post-2008 issues of these cards? The database has the 2001 to 2008 sets, but nothing more recent.
