Besides these cards, I'll also collect any sports memorabilia for my teams from Calgary
Also getting back into Lego, lots of the "vintage" sets I already have, 1989 Batman, Ecto-1, 007's Aston Martin, Speed Champions.
I like Corvettes, so lots of models and sign related pieces.
Small record collection also, I only add to that as I happen to come across interesting albums.
-------------------------------
I could probably buy the already complete sets cheaper somewhere else, but I like getting my maildays.

My thing other than cards is video games/retro gaming. I also dabble in comics, dvds/blu-ray, and vinyl.

Can't say it isn't more hoarding than collecting...
Until I started burning, shredding etc,
I had Bank Statements, Credit Card Bills, etc
going back before 2005.....
Yep, lots of paper to do away with......

Just reply with: The Tax Man Commeth....
Did keep my Verizon on pdf... after a couple years they wouldn't open,
so gave up on digital files....
Can't count the number of files/pics lost to dead memory chips etc....

Mainly coins. A few others have commented on the higher cost of coins, but to me they are the same as cards, you can buy the 20 cents stuff , the 2 dollar stuff, the 20 dollar stuff or the 2000 dollar stuff if that it what peaks your interest.
I have a postcard collection gathering dust, I used to exchange worldwide quite extensively when I lived in Europe, but here in Canada postcards aren't really a thing (unless I want to drive 35 minutes down the road to Niagara Falls), so they are hard to find and get which limits exchange possibilities.

Strangely, Little Golden books. Started in '88 and have been fortunate to obtain a copy of every single one from the very first one put out to date.

Paper collecting it's called "Ephemora". The 12 year old in me still chuckles at "Philately" for stamp collecting.
Reminds me of a Tom Lehrer song titled "Smut" there is a line that goes "Who needs a hobby, like Tennis or Philately? I've got a hobby ...ReReading Lady Chaterly."

I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies). My Trade List is very much a work in progress CaptKirk42s Trading Card Blog Curly W Cards Strive For '65 YouTube klandersen42
