I collect movies (Blu-rays and DVDs), old Big Little Books, and music (both Vinyl and CD). I also collect audiobooks...
I have a good-sized collection of coins that I'm looking to downsize, and would happily trade for cards! LOL

Hmm I've never commented in this thread? Over my 50some years (getting closer to 60) I've collected or dabbled in many things. Here is a list of what I have collected, many I no longer collect. Some stuff I still have the bulk of the collection like stamps, some other things like 8-Tracks I no longer have (Those I gave to a friend/acquaintance years ago and I think he has since gotten rid of them)
Trading Cards, Sports memorbilia especially of my Homie teams, Comics, Books, Beer and Soda Cans, bottles, Vinyl Albums, CDs, Cassettes, even 8-Tracks at one time, buttons (pinbacks), patches, Toys, Stamps matchbooks, action figures, 25mm "lead" figures, Models, Role Playing games, VHS tapes, DVDs, magazines, post cards, coins, hats,. There might be a few other things but I can't think of them. Some of the collections like the 8-Tracks and models I no longer have some of the other stuff I stopped collecting but still have the collection. Some of those inactive collections I think about getting rid of or at least the bulk of them.
A couple of years ago as sort of an experiment I collectted the fortunes from fortune cookies because I was curious how many different ones there are. I blogged about some of them and still have a draft for #100 (there are many times more than that).and I have been plannig on posting a grand total list sometime of what I had found over about a 5 year period maybe more. Sometimes fortunes are repeated but with a slight variation Like "A large sum of money will come your way" and "A large sum of money will come to you" are basically the same thing. Sometimes the variation will be one word added (or cutout depending on your point of view) "Relax and you will be happy" and "You will be happy"
-------------------------------
I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies). My Trade List is very much a work in progress CaptKirk42s Trading Card Blog Curly W Cards Strive For '65 YouTube klandersen42

I collect comic books (about books12,000 right now) as my main interest.
Trading cards is my second most colleting focus.
I also collect coins
Currently sizing down my video game collection selling anything thats not Playstation1,2, or 3. and that collections is getting the fat trimmed as it were.
Also used to collect anything star wars but that's on it's way out too, in need of more space I sold my display cases to an action fugure collector. mostly story books and small toys left at this point.
It's hard to sell a collection when all of the family knows you collect that thing and every holiday or birthday they find the weirdest stuff.
-------------------------------
trade priorities are 95 Fleer Ultra Spider-Man gold foil sig parallels and 95 Batman Forever Metal. happy to do 10:1 or more depending on rarity.

Aside from the ever popular dust.....
Beer bottles....mostly from Eastern Europe, but I have them from Asia, Australia, Africa, the Americas, etc.
T-shirts from all the concerts I go to.
Well over 100 of each of those.

Aside from Baseball cards.
*"San Diego Padres Magazine" programs: Went out of print after 2013, but I'm still trying to get some from prior years that I'm missing, focusing on 1996-2013
*Baseball pocket schedules: Mostly Padres as well, but if I see them at a ballpark, I grab it. Too bad it looks like they're also being phased out.
*Disney parks guide maps: Another thing that may be phased out in the future with the use of apps, but so far still in print.
*Disney lapel pins: Focusing on a few specific ones, otherwise it gets expensive.
*MLB Stadium lapel pins: Focusing on a few specific ones, otherwise it gets expensive.
*Coins: I'm actually moving away from this collection, as it's becoming too expensive and I'm losing interest in it. May downsize in the future.

Nearly 100 Battletech minis...
Over 50 D&D minis...
Numerous rules for different games/eras..
As one who studied History, numerous magazines / books in the 100s (Military History, WWII etc)
As reader, over 500 books (paperback and hardback)
100s of CDs, Cassettes etc

Wow, fun thread! I also collect music: Jazz, Jump Blues, Doo Wop, Western Swing, Rockabilly, Soul, Funk, Punk, New Wave, Power Pop....I love it all! Vintage clothing from the 1930's-1970's, and me & the wife love hunting down teak furniture and Mid Century pieces. I've also got a ton of books on baseball, music, and history.

I am mainly a hockey card collector with some other sports and gaming mixed in. However I do have a partial coin collection, and have considered getting into comics, but I am nervous about jumping into comics, due to my lack of space and extra funds.
-------------------------------
My main focus is primarily the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pirates, and associated teams. I collect other cards as well, but not as avidly. Also interested in the Pittsburgh Steelers if the trade is decent. CURRENT GOALS: - Finish the 2021-22 MVP Hockey Base Set including SPs. (Currently: 240 / 250)
- Finish the 2021-22 MVP Hockey Mascot Gaming Parallel Set. (Currently: 23/30)
- My son is working on the Fortnite Series 3 Base set and Harvesting Tool and Wrap inserts.
LONG TERM GOALS: - Obtain a single rookie card for every Pittsburgh Penguins player.

Great topic.
As a kid I started collecting cards, and my parents were very suportive because my father was a stamp collector. Mostly Scandanavian and W. Germany. I picked it up for a few years. I sold my colllection many years ago. However I still have my father's. I may need to go through that soon. It is taking up a decent amount of room.
I still have my comic books, some Golden age but mostly Silver age. 500-ish
I collect Tony Stewart items casually. Usually when I stumble on something cool.
I have collected a near complete run of Mike Shayne detective novels. Some first editions. I really should track down the missing three titles. For those unaware of these https://www.goodreads.com/series/70340-mike-shayne
Cheers,
