Oh, I have to get one of those for my collection.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Yes, as a Cubs fan, I've been finding the Mordecai Brown/Solly Hoffman is cheaper than say a T206 Brown. Still expensive, but not as bad as I thought it'd be. I'll be pulling the trigger on one soon enough, I think.

Love his nickname...Three Finger Brown. It's said his handicap resulted in a great curveball.

Getting way off topic here, but I always loved that both Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown AND Antonio Alfonseca (who had six fingers on one hand) pitched for the Cubs, albeit a century apart.
Billy, I can't decide whether to laugh or cry. I'll opt to just shake my head and move on....

Alfonseca had 12 fingers and 12 toes, if I recall. And it seems Harry Caray would point it out every time he pitched. As for the Gwynn card, I like it the way it is. I think the point is to identify the front, not the back. If it were being displayed normally, in an album or holder, that's what you would see. Thats what you would be looking to identify, if you didn't know what you had. If it came up as RCOTD, card battle, birthday, or anything else that only shows the front, I think the left would be the right one to show. Not to be argumentative. Just giving my view, respectfully.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Just a thought on the Double Headers (and yes I also have added some of those scans) if we were to flip the card open and upload, wouldn't it come out looking like junk since the site would try to resize the image to the base set stats? Personaly, this issue aside, I think they should stay as is, as was pointed out if somebody was researching the using the site they would be looking at the card most likely in this way.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess the consensus is to keep them as they are.
