Yes, I read the release notes for the set, but it still doesn't make much sense to have the Identity Crisis and Legends of the Women's Division in the main set, all three (including the main set) have different designs and card numbers.

I agree 100%. I don't understand how those are considered subsets. To me they are inserts. Did you ask Corky where he got his information?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I don't know anything about the cards, but they are noted as being subsets on the sell sheets. Then again it also states 70 base cards on the sell sheet as well, so who knows.

Then it's just a difference in terminology? They're using "subset" to mean what we call "inserts". Here's the Topps website checklist:

I didn't check to see who did the checklist. I guess, I was just pointing out how it looks a little strange, but if the set is staying that way, do those cards need notes then?

Looks like three sets to me, despite what the set notes say. Topps doesn't get to decide for us how we do our checklists here, no matter how they want to refer to their cards on a sell sheet.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Since this one was REALLY pervasive, someone may wish to contact Admin with specific instructions on what each insert set is, and how they also need to be pulled from the parallel sets. Admin may be able to do it a lot easier than we would (it would take us several hundred IRs and in the cases where images exist, each one of those cards would require 2 IRs to get the images/collection moved and then deleted. But I agree, these are inserts and not "subsets" of the base set (even if they follow all the same parallels with the same SNs).
