2. 2008 Grandstand Bristol White Sox #25 Joucer Martinez
Not sure any ball player these days would want that first name - Juicer! |
4. 2013 Grandstand Princeton Rays #NNO Stone Speer
A stone spear? Sounds like he came from a land from a long, long time ago. Like, the Stone Age. |
8. 1969 Topps #174 Steve Stonebreaker
A football player named Stonebreaker. Do YOU what to line up across from him? I sure don't want my stones broken. |

In 2009 the Winnipeg Goldeyes had a pitcher named Chris Homer, and another pitcher named Ace Walker. http://www.tradingcarddb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/159368/cid/10252670?PageIndex=1 There was also a wrestler in the 1990s who had a charcter named Bastion Booger

Of course, there's Fair Hooker (WR for the Browns in the early 70's) and one of my all-time favorite sports headlines was "Satan Scores a Hat Trick"

Nice list, in the 90's/early 2000's maybe even still today there was a local DJ who used Jay Walker as his name, I don't think it was his real name. There once was a Cardinals player named Rich Hacker, I had to share that on Facebook a few years ago after that whole fiasco with the Astros. I also always got a kick out of hearing the names of Coco Crisp and Milton Bradley. |
