Final 6 Phillies Topps Needs by tcc25 (Last updated on Dec. 13, 2018)

I've been working on Phillies team sets from Topps flagship/Update series' on and off since 2011. I'm complete back through 1968 and am currently 6 cards away from completing the run of 2000+ cards: 2 60s, and 4 50s.

Last addition: 1966 Topps #585 Tony Taylor

2018 A's Regulars Binder Page by chvlDm (Last updated on Dec. 13, 2018)

A's 2018 regulars at 9 positions (including DH, not including pitchers). These cards fill a 9-card binder page and that's how I display a big part my collection. One page per year. (It's quite convenient that's there's 9 positions and 9 cards per binder page. Otherwise this organization idea wouldn't work so well!)

Player Goals For 2018-2019 by AnalogKid (Last updated on Dec. 10, 2018)

Previously known as "Monthly Player Goals For 2018-2019". A list of retired and nearly retired players with the max amount of cards I would like to have in my collection. (Apologies to anyone that I haven't thanked. I don't always remember to update the list.)

Continuously numbered sets, split across multiple checklists by switzr1 (Last updated on Nov. 14, 2018)

For me a set is one of every card from #1 to #999 (or whatever). Sometimes getting these requires buying multiple products. Here is a list of sets that continue their numbering across multiple checklists, as defined within the parameters of this site. General Series 1 + Series 2 sets won't appear, as they are continuous on our checklists here.

For this project, I will show Card 1, followed by last card available in the same release, first card from next release, etc. until final card.

By all means help me out with this. There's no way I know about even 10% of these.

The Merkle's Boner Gallery by Vvvergeer (Last updated on Nov. 5, 2018)

12/11/17. One small adjustment, trading out the Schulte. Maybe now you've seen the last of this list...

9/14/17. IT IS DONE! Don't quite know when I started this, two or three years ago, I'd say. But I've done it. This is my collection of every player who was on the field during Merkle's Boner.

I leave the rest of my original description of this list below:

I've always loved it, but for about three years now -- ever since I decided I needed at least one tobacco card, a Cub -- I've been a bit obsessed with Merkle's Boner. Perhaps I just like the name. Perhaps I like that it led to the last Cubs World Series win before 2016. I dunno. I'm just going with it.

I'm not going to recount the story here. I'll leave it to those who are interested to look up. Suffice it to say, Merkle made a pretty understandable base running error that arguably won the Cubs the 1908 pennant. He never lived it down.

I thought I'd be done once I got Merkle and Tinker and Evers and Chance. But then I wondered what other tobacco cards I could shoot for, and it occurred to me that there was a pitcher that day. And another guy on base. And a guy who got the hit. There's the guy who fielded the ball. And, less connected to the play, but of course on the field, were the catcher, third baseman, and two other outfielders.

I lean towards T205s whenever possible, because they have stats and are beautiful. I hope to own all of these someday. It'll take awhile. But here's my Merkle's Boner gallery. Enjoy.

Why Did I Collect This? by captkirk42 (Last updated on Oct. 25, 2018)

Not sure how long this list will get or if I will actually try to continue with it. Anyway it is a list of cards I got that are not normally the type of thing I would add to my PC but for some reason I got it. There may be Non-Sport cards here with subjects I don't normally do. The cards or in a few cases the complete sets on this list I added to my PC for some reason or another.

Happy Birthday by jupiterhill (Last updated on Oct. 24, 2018)

Originally the concept was called "The Birthday Binder" which I would have one card for each day of the year. Since I moved away from binders, I have created a collection on here and will also use this list. The only criteria is each person depicted must have their birth date listed on the card. They must be real people, but otherwise, any celebrity, athlete, politician, or whoever may be chosen for that specific date. At times I reserve the right to remove or replace the card or the person for that date. I will try to update it at the beginning of each month, and whenever I add or remove cards.

MLB Retired Numbers and Other Permanent Stadium Tributes: New York Yankees by stevejrogers (Last updated on Oct. 21, 2018)

Yankee Stadium's Monument Park goes back to 1932, with the Miller Huggins Monument in deep center field. Through the changes and relocation to the the Stadium, the park has always been in deep center field, and since the 1990s has always been in back of a row of the Yankee retired numbers.
