Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

I received two packages of cards in the mail today. A trade with woodmangb that had a bunch of jaw-dropping bonus cards. The other a jaw-dropping auto card from SaintOrm. A simple "Thank You" seems inadequate. But, "THANKS GUYS".

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Thanks BKim! The cards beat me home as I was in NJ when they arrived. Blessings to you for your generosity. Oh, and the birthday card was appropriate as I DO play guitar, too!

Your welcome. I hope you enjoy the cards.
I do have more football and hockey cards I could pass on if I knew who could use them for their collection.

Huge shout out to nymarine914 for multiple reasons. It could be because he's a fellow Marine (ok, bonus points for that), could be because he included a replacement card in our trade even though I told him not to worry about it. I mean, how many of us have sworn they had a card and when they pull it for a trade it wasn't there. This particular shout out is for the absolutely beautiful Carew's he just sent me. One from 71T and the other from the 73 set. Anyone who knows the 71 set knows how painful the borders are. This one is beautiful. Thank you!
Oh, and I forgot. It is officially my 100th trade completed on here.

I don't do cool graphics, because I'm not talented like that. However, I can do heartfelt thank yous.
Chuck, you brightened 2 of my days this year. Thanks for thinking of me. It is very much appreciated.

Managed to complete a quasi-in-person trade (hand delivered, as we couldn't get our schedules to match up) with a fellow Minnesotan, tsch67, and he surprised me with an entire non-sports set that was totally unlike anything else in my collection. Thanks Tom!

Just got in from NJ and found a PIF from Herbinator (not the first time, either) and received some nice '92 Ultras. Thanks, Shane! (I wasn't as clueless as the last time I got something from you.)
