On display is a card from my collection that I think best represents the set. For most years, that's the key rookie card. For the years I don't have the key rookie, it's probably a HOF Vikings player. However, there are a couple years where a card has some special interest to me, '77 Walter Payton for instance.
I'm sure I will end up changing some of these out as I continue to complete sets, at least I hope so.
51. 2007 Topps #417 Tony Gonzalez
Adrian Peterson's RC will eventually get this space. Until then Tony Gonzalez will hold the spot. I don't like black bordered cards. Even the '62 set which is among my favorites would be better off without the black border. Add in the four little squares in each corner and I have to wonder what Topps' designers were thinking. Purina dog food? |
52. 2008 Topps #329 Adrian Peterson
I had to get an A.P. card on the wall. I don't know if I like this set or not. I don't think I like the way the team name is displayed and there is a lot of white on the card front. It is not Topps' worst offering though. Even though the Vikings didn't treat him well, I do like A.P. and this is a good looking card. SKOL! |

I like this set. Colorful, easy to read, and excellent photography. I don't have many from this set in my collection so I'll give this spot to Peyton. This makes three cards of him on the wall. I don't have an issue with that. "Nationwide is on your side." |
55. 2011 Topps #376 Jared Allen
I suppose Cam Newton is the card to get from this set. I don't have it. But I do have Jared Allen in a Vikings uniform. Let's go fishing for some QB's. SKOL! |

With only 13 cards from this set in my collection, my options are limited. Overall this is not a bad set...not a great set either. |

I don't like the graphics on the front or back. Great action shot of Eli though. |

Another set where the graphics really detract from the card. Jared Allen in the snow is the best I have from this set. Ice fishing for QB's? "Da Bears"! |
59. 2015 Topps #158 Xavier Rhodes
Topps ended their NFL run with a design that is a tad too busy for my liking. I don't have many cards from this set but I will end this list with a Viking. SKOL! |
