Perfect Games by deegsteach (Last updated on Jan. 9, 2019)

Cards highlighting the pitcher-catcher batteries for all 23 official perfect games and 3 unofficial ones. Most of the cards are from my collection, but I added some wantlist cards that were specific to the events. Also, couldn't find an Emil Gross card who caught John Ward's game and Ron Hassey is the only catcher to have caught 2 perfectos - who knew.

Milestone Cards by Billy Kingsley (Last updated on Jan. 9, 2019)

I keep very detailed records of my collection. I wish I had begun sooner, when I started in 1998, I had already been collecting for a decade, and the listing has evolved over time. I am still refining it, in fact. It's a combination of two things- my OCD, and a desire to know what I had in my collection. As I was approaching my 30,000th different NBA basketball card, I decided to take note of which card was #30,000. Three months later, I hit 34,000 and have been writing down the Thousand Cards ever since. When I finally documented my NASCAR cards, finishing in 2007, and my non-sports and other sports cards, in 2010, I documented each thousand card then, too. It's pointless trivia, and only matters to me, but I felt like sharing it anyway.

Vladimir Guerrero - the Topps Collection by Handsome Wes (Last updated on Jan. 9, 2019)

A look back at the career of "Vlad the Impaler" - a 2018 Hall of Fame inductee - and currently the only member to represent the Angels franchise (more on that later) - as told by his Topps cards.

500 Steals by deegsteach (Last updated on Jan. 9, 2019)

All players who have compiled 500 or more stolen bases in their careers. I chose cards in my collection and ones that show career steals stats on the reverse when possible.

Favorite Cards for my Favorites List by Gunny (Last updated on Jan. 9, 2019)

Here are my favorite cards in my collection for the people on my favorites list. My favorites list is right now at 50 persons. Cards may change as I enter more into my collection or add more people to my favorites list. There are a few people on my favorites list who do not have any cards catalogued in my collection, eventually that will change when I come upon some of their cards.

Milwaukee Brewers TTM Baseball Card Autographs by ntlwhlr (Last updated on Jan. 7, 2019)

A list of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Cards I have received via through the mail autograph requests. They are sorted from earliest card years to latest.

As with any TTM, I assume them to be authentic, but never 100% sure. A few were in person autographs vs. TTM and they are noted as such. I'll continue the list with additional autographs as they are received.

A Thank You to all the Players Who Are Kind Enough To Respond To Fan Mail and Autograph Requests.

My completed Insert sets by Billy Kingsley (Last updated on Jan. 5, 2019)

I'm a base card guy. Always have been, always will be. But I will collect literally anything. Inserts have been a staple in the hobby for many years but I've never figured out how many I have completed over the years...until now.

WARNING: THE LIST CONTAINS FULL FRONTAL NUDITY so if you have your filter set to show mature, it will...

My Collection of Players Associated with Quirky Trivia by Vvvergeer (Last updated on Jan. 4, 2019)

Got an excellent addition.

The more I collect, the more interested I've become in getting a bit more free-form. Collecting all the Topps sets is nice, but other quirky "sets" are more fun.
Especially when I'm buying vintage cards, where I'm likely to only buy one card from the set, I need some reason to buy one card over another. I go for Cubs, but I don't know any of the non-stars from each other. So how to decide? I do a little research and find the cards of guys with quirky trivia attached to them.
Here are a few of those cards.
As always, feel free to suggest others. I'll probably want to buy them.

1956 - My Birthyear Team by Sportzcommish (Last updated on Jan. 4, 2019)

This is simply a team I've put together from the 1956 Topps Baseball set to mark the year of my birth. If I ever get card #130, then Willie Mays will replace one of the outfielders, otherwise this is it.

Baseball RCs (or XRCs/FCs) Still Needed (Post-1980) by Sportzcommish (Last updated on Jan. 4, 2019)

I have an extensive player collection and in the era of multiple card companies, i.e. no longer just one RC per player, these are the players whose rookie cards remain on my Want List. They are listed in chronological (then alphabetical) order.

Nebraska State League MLB Players by bpoday (Last updated on Jan. 4, 2019)

List of all players that have trading card that played in this league (Class D league from '56-59) For most of these players, this was their first stop in the minor leagues. I believe most cards in this set reference the Nebraska city/team on the back of card. I grew up in Kearney, NE and Kearney was the Yankees team but this was 15 years before I arrived. Love all things Nebraska!

My 4th Place Fantasy Football Team - Zeke FTW! by yokonashiwa (Last updated on Jan. 3, 2019)

This year I played Yahoo! Fantasy Football and finished in 4th place. Not much to brag about, but considering Yahoo! predicted I would finish in 11th out of 12 teams, I would say not bad. I finished 7-7 after a 5 game losing streak in the middle of the season. This is my final roster and not the team I initially drafted.

Red Sox A-Z by AnalogKid (Last updated on Jan. 2, 2019)

This is a rather large project I'm working on. To have a card of every player featured on a Red Sox card. The cards I've selected aren't necessarily the card I want. They are there to represent a player.

Roy Halladay - the Topps Collection by Handsome Wes (Last updated on Jan. 2, 2019)

An eight-time All-Star and a two-time winner of the Cy Young Award (once in both leagues!), Roy Halladay was one of the best pitchers in the early 21st century.

In a few weeks, he'll be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. In honor of this prestige, I'd like to take a look back at his career - as told by his Topps baseball cards.

Prominent Detroit Tigers for each Uniform Number by dsorek (Last updated on Jan. 2, 2019)

This is a list of the best Tiger rated by impact to the team during their tenure as a Tiger for each uniform number 1-99 (if worn). This is in my opinion of course. I've tried to add the card that shows them at or near the end of their time with the Tigers for the stats on the back which means I often chose a Topps card.

Please feel free to leave me your thoughts on this list.

2018 Card of the Day by Billy Kingsley (Last updated on Dec. 31, 2018)

2018 marks my 30th anniversary in the hobby. To celebrate, I am going to try and get at least one new card every single day of the year. To ensure this works, I have been stashing cards for this project since 2015! I didn't get to celebrate any of my other big anniversaries since I didn't stop to count how many years I had been in the hobby until year #26. On days where I get more than one card, the first card of that day will be the card of record, shown here in this list and in a monthly wrapup on Cardboard History.

Reds in an Era: 2014-2018: The Rebuild by TheToddFather21 (Last updated on Dec. 31, 2018)

After making the wild-card playoff game in 2013, things began to fall apart for the Reds. They fired Dusty Baker after the 2013 season. After loosing 98 games in 2014, the Reds began to trade off players, Mat Latos and Alfredo Simon for younger players, Anthony DeSclafani and Eugenio Suarez. At the trade deadline in 2015, the Reds went all in with the rebuild, trading ace Johnny Cueto, and Mike Leake. The players on this list is the core players of the 'rebuild era.'

New people added to my collection in 2018 NHL only by Billy Kingsley (Last updated on Dec. 30, 2018)

Last year, 2017, was my first collecting the NHL. I will collect the sport for the rest of my life, but I'm still in the early stages. I already have about 2500 different players in my collection, let's see how many more I add in 2018

My Completed Sets by Billy Kingsley (Last updated on Dec. 30, 2018)

I'm a set builder, I always have been, and always will be. I completed my first set in 1990 and as of this writing, April 2nd, 2013, I've completed 116 sets. My criteria for inclusion on this list: Pack based release, even if I bought a factory set, qualifies. Factory set only issues qualify at 100 or more cards. Team sets, inserts, promos, do not.
Since I am OCD, I also have kept track of when I completed many of the sets. If I know the exact date, I will include it in the caption. I also had the idea, circa 2004, to record the last card I needed to complete the set, if I wrote it down, that is the card I will use for this album.

vrooomed's Most Wanted Phillies cards by vrooomed (Last updated on Dec. 25, 2018)

As a collector of Phillies cards, I have a pretty sizable collection starting with some 1951 Bowman to present day. I decided to go after all Topps cards during that timeframe, as well as the Bowmans up to 1955. This list is starting with the 3 I'm missing from the 1960s that is keeping me from being complete from 1955 to present day and I'm adding to the list going from 1954 back.
