“ I really like the back design here. The front is fine, but the back stands out. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ How did this fit in the bottle of Mustard? ” -switzr1

“ Not a big fan of these. ” -lonhro

“ MLBPA approved, but not MLB, no team logos. Early 1990s - when everyone was putting out cards. ” -vrooomed

“ Always loved the cards that come with foods. Good marketing tool. Sets are usually a small, manageable size. ” -NJDevils

“ It's interesting that French's was allowed to use team names but no logos. ” -jlaz10

Set: 1992-93 Pro Set (Rate)

Card: #44 Vladimir Konstantinov

“ Mmmghhmmmgghgmmm, that strap sure tastes like sweat. ” -JimStaub

“ I don't think the chin strap is supposed to go across the mouth... ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I actually like this set,it's a shame that Pro Set finally got it right with what was their last hockey set.Vlad was one of the best. ” -uncaian

“ Dude is still a hero in Detroit. ” -wax_house

“ Boy, do I love that white Red Wings sweater. NHL, please make white at home again! ” -jlaz10

“ Nice card. I like how the red of the uniform matches the red of the logo which matches the red of the type. This causes me to cast an accusing glance at the orange of the NHL Pro Set, but I'll live. ” -revnorb

“ The Vlad-inator. He hit like Kronwall before there was a Kronwall. Injured (severely) in a car accident after celebrating a Stanley Cup win, never to play again. Haven't seen him lately. Hope he's still progressing. ” -vrooomed

“ YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!! a HOCKEY Contribution!!!!!!! ABOUT BLOOMING TIME!!!! Aand it had to be Pro set. 95% of Pro set cards I get end up in my doubles drawer. Although, Pro Set had a good thing going for them. Simple design, large front picture, small back picture with a tidbit of history to read. They looked out for the "little guy" and gave many a player who normally wouldn't get a rookie card the opportunity to shine. Lots of people look at that "No name player" as junk. Imagine you WERE him. After you leave the NHL from a game or two and you pick up a pro set pack, you pull YOUR rookie. The Novelty. :) ” -Dixxy

Set: 2000 Sports Illustrated for Kids I (Jan-Nov 2000) (Rate)

Card: #868 Pele

“ The card says, "the greatest soccer player of all time". Actually, one of the three greatest of all time. Alfredo Di Stefano, Diego Armando Maradona, and Pele. I think the most interesting fact about Pele that little people know is that he married Josef Mengele's daughter. Xuxa is her name. ” -deporcoruña

“ True Superstar, one of the most popular athletes ever ” -uncaian

“ The greatest, 'nuff said. ” -Gunny

“ That's pretty impressive that he stopped a war in Nigeria just by visiting. I don't understand why so many Brazilian athletes go with one name though. To me that is like saying "I don't like my name or who I am, so I will be somebody else!" But then again, I'm one of the few people who use their real names on message boards regularly. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ If only the modern New York Cosmos wore kits as simple as these. ” -jlaz10

Set: 2008-09 Upper Deck Masterpieces (Rate)

Card: #46 Bobby Hull

“ Funny face Bobby. ” -JimStaub

“ It's like Norman Rockwell was watching a hockey game through a screen door. ” -revnorb

“ I really liked this set, nice texture on the cards with some pretty decent artwork. I wish Upper Deck would bring this one back. The set also honors some great players and moments in hockey history. ” -Gunny

“ I like this card, I like this set. ” -vrooomed

“ One of my favorite sets is Upper Deck Masterpieces. I like the canvas look it has, reminds me of paintings. ” -Joshua825

“ The Golden Jet one of the greatest players & personalities to play in the NHL. Is it just my computer or is this card fuzzy ? ” -uncaian

“ Chicago Blackhawks. 'Nuf said. ” -jlaz10

Set: 1995 Collect-A-Card Power Rangers The New Season Retail (Rate)

Card: #65 Jason

“ PLEASE MAKE IT STOP! NO MORE! ” -lonhro

“ Great now I have go find card #17 ! Never should have read the back. ” -uncaian

“ Voted most likely to use hair gel, 10th grade was a very good time for Jason. ” -cckeith

“ Go go, Power Rangers! ” -jlaz10

“ Everything blends just right on this one. Mouhahahaha! ” -JimStaub

“ Grab a yearbook photo, slide it onto a word background for a border and slap on a couple of icons. Sell them for lots of money. Umm I'm probably giving them too much credit for thinking on this design. >.> ” -koloth42

Set: 2011 Score (Rate)

Card: #281 Ronde Barber

“ A decent card. Like the helmet with logo. Uncluttered, easy to read name, position and team. ” -NJDevils

“ Must stink to have a pretty serviceable NFL career but still rarely be mentioned without your brother. ” -jackal726

“ These uniforms aren't necessarily pretty, but I'll take these anyday over their current arena-like duds. ” -jlaz10

“ Not bad, but too much white space on the front. Drop the position and team, raise the player name shift it left, and for crying out loud, does the Score logo need to be THAT big? Reduce the Score logo, and then expand that photo. Much better! And the back is pretty good. ” -vrooomed

“ That's the Barber I'd want on my team, but then I'd rather have Brutus the Barber on my team than Tiki Barber. ” -Id8jlb8666

Set: 2006 Topps (Rate)

Card: #19 Erron Kinney

“ This came out during that time period that I quit collecting. I'm not sure I've ever even seen this card design before. Too much foil for my liking. ” -switzr1

“ I appreciate the reasonably simple design, but it's somewhat amazing to me that they couldn't do a better job filling the space with the typography on the back. Simple is not enough; you hafta actually be kinda good at it for it to work. ” -revnorb

“ Erron Kinney. Can't say that I know much about him. Love the Topps action shots though. Much better than the helmetless head shots of the 60's. Although I do miss the Johnny Unitas and Alex Karras flat tops. ” -Kaline6

“ Seems like Topps didn't even try will this one. ” -carthage44

“ The shoulders ruin these uniforms. Stick to some stripes. ” -jlaz10

“ Man, this was back when I collected football. Now I have a bunch of football cards I need to trade. ” -Howintensive

Set: 1991 Impel G.I. Joe (Rate)

Card: #161 Operation: Scarface

“ ".... And knowing is half the battle." ” -grim25

“ I miss Saturday morning cartoons. This was absolutely one of my favorite shows to watch growing up. Between Thundercats, He-Man, GI Joe, and Silverhawks, I loved cartoons. ” -yokonashiwa

“ Love this series. I was introduced to GI Joe the day after Thanksgiving in 1990, and I still read the comics. This is the cover of one of the Marvel issues. I had my first comic read to me at 5 days old, but the GI Joe comic was the first I read in an actual series form, instead of just random issues. I later got my first letter to a comic published in a GI Joe comic circa 2003. (I've since had 3 more published) This set from Impel would have been the 3rd or 4th set I ever completed. I know I completed it when it was new, but the actual order is lost to history. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ There really is something for everyone in card collecting. ” -koloth42

Set: 2002 Topps 206 (Rate)

Card: #206 Magglio Ordonez

“ At first glance, I thought this was Ray Knight. ” -NJDevils

“ Wow, that's exactly how they used Photoshop in 1909! ” -revnorb

“ If they really wanted to try to make this set look like an authentic T206 set, they should have drawn the players in period-appropriate uniforms. ” -jlaz10

Set: 2013 Topps - Commemorative Patch (Rate)

Card: #CP-22 Chris Sale

“ I like this card. I don't know why, but I've always liked the manufactured patches. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I guess that the popularity of the patch cards from jerseys were such a hit that companies decided to make their own patches to put in cards. Personally, I can't think of anything more useless for a company to try to pawn off as "collectible". In The Game actually made commemorative patches that they then cut up to put in the cards. This card isn't to that level. ” -vrooomed

“ This is one of my favorite sleeve patches in baseball. ” -duaned99

“ I am not a big fan of the "manufactured" patches. The card is nice enough, but it's like a fake game-used card to me. ” -suomibear8

“ In some ways, I actually prefer these manufactured patches to the "real" ones. A least here, the company is making no claims the patch is legitimate, it is only there for artistic purposes. ” -DaClyde

“ Sweet card! Sale is a STUD! Go White Sox! ” -carthage44

“ Not a fan of "commemorative patch" cards. They're even worse than "game used base" baseball cards. ” -CluelessJoe

“ manufactured patch = manufactured demand I'd rather they didn't make them, but since they do make them I'm glad to see a scan of it ” -jackal726

“ The White Sox uniforms are classic and modern at the same time, despite being 25 years old. ” -jlaz10

“ I dig game used relic cards. Manufactured, not so much. ” -Id8jlb8666
